Happy Thanksgiving

We didn't get any photos of this month's Malama Pono, however, it was a good one despite the rain.

We prepared a full-on Thanksgiving dinner for the participants.

I would like to add that any member who participates in our monthly Malama Pono gets a free meal.

The following photos are of Adriana and Kamalani at Flat Bread Pizza.

Flat Bread, what can I say? Walking by is a treat in itself. You are drawn in by the comforting, smoky smell of the hand-crafted clay oven. After being seated in one of the relaxing open dining rooms you are treated to excellent customer service. The employees at this Pa'ia eatery are so great.

Flat Bread is well known for its benevolent giving and community awareness.  So it was no surprise that they readily agreed to giving us a tour - complete with the experience of making our own pizzas.

Thanks again to Jenna, Dave and staff for making our day!

New Plate Dinner Activities

The following are some of the plate meals we have been creating since our switch-over from a snack shack.  We are strictly a program now.

The plates are available from 4:00 to 6:00 PM - Tuesday through Saturday every week.

We only serve members and their families.

Wow! A new thing here. Perfect, because the Cafe Program at the Pa'ia Youth and Cultural Center is starting the New/Revised Cafe Program. It starts Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Unless you are one of the older members, this will be really different. Stay tuned for updates.
